Well, it is 2009 and that means a new year (yeah I know 11 days in already) and new goals. I have thought about this for awhile, and I have made a small list of things I want to improve. Right now they are generalized, but I am slowly working out the fine details.
One of these, like almost everyone, is to be healthier. So, today I went for a run. I tried to make it a mile, but was unsuccessful. I know, it is pathetic that I am 26 and I cannot even complete a mile at a steady running pace. You have to start somewhere, but I sure wish I could have started a bit more in shape, and I probably could have it I had not waited so long to develop this healthy habit. So, wish chubby good luck, and please sincerely pray that I don’t pass out or embarrass myself too badly out on the public jogging trail.

You Can Do It! (Said in the tone of that cajun guy on Waterboy!)
Seriously, don't feel bad. I think Ellie was in much worse condition when she came home than you were!
I'm so proud of you for getting the ball rolling on our brand new lives together.
Don't lose the momentum.
Most important thing--don't quit! I am proud of you that you are starting to take better care of yourself.
